At Bishop Skinner Marine, we don’t just understand your passion for boats, we share it!
The Bishop Skinner Marine team recently enjoyed an exhilarating trip out from Blackwater Sailing Club down the channel out into the estuary where we travelled around the back of Osea Island.
Each of our team members had a go at some rib driving skills, getting a feel for the water and the responsiveness of the throttle.
Crossing back across the river towards Northey Island, we waved to the day trippers on the Thames Barges enjoying a lovely September evening in the sunshine before watching some wakeboarders making the most of the calm waters around the back of Northey Island.
From there we carried on up the river and passed the Prom at Maldon to the Queens Head for some much needed refreshments and a catch up before heading back down the river to the club before dark.
Everyone had a great time and we are looking forward to our next out of office team excursion!
Thank you for having us Blackwater Sailing Club.
Hannah Bristow, Client Services Manager added, “We had another great evening as a team and were once again able to experience the joy of being on the water, just like our clients do. Everyone was able to drive the ribs during the evening which was a great experience for us all, especially those who had never done so before. The weather certainly added to this lovely evening and we cannot wait to get back out on the water next season!”
