Who is Bishop Skinner Marine?
Simply put, we're super-specialists in boat insurance. We share our clients’ passion for boats of all shapes and sizes. We’re also passionate about sharing our specialist knowledge with clients and finding them the cover they need. From small crafts, dinghies, windsurfs and motorboats to yachts and even super-yachts – our policies are specially designed to meet the unique needs of our clients.
We always aim to provide outstanding customer service to every client, no matter what vessel they own. We actively listen and respond to client feedback and we’re always looking to invest in our colleagues’ development, technology and business processes.

I’ve always had a strong affinity with water-sports and I now enjoy spending my free time on my RIB in Devon with my family.
I have many years of retail insurance experience, with a background of supporting private clients with their complex insurance requirements. I combine my love for water-sports with my passion for providing great customer service to help our clients protect the assets that are most important to them.

You’ll often find me under the water, scuba diving. I’ve completed over 70 dives around the world and I have a Powerboat level 2 and Dinghy qualifications.
I’ve worked in the boat insurance industry for many years, as both a marine underwriter and a broker. I really enjoy talking to members of the RYA about their boats and sharing in the excitement of their upcoming cruising plans!
